Coventry Airport has changed the routings of Thomsonfly aircraft, their website carries the following message:

"Following a successful consultation period, Coventry Airport proposes to trial revised Southbound Standard Departure Routings and Noise Preferential Routings. This trial will commence on Thursday 01 March at 1200 hours and run until Friday 01 June at 1200 hours. The trial will be conducted by Thomsonfly Boeing 737-500 and 300 series only. The significance of these trials is that departing aircraft from runway 23 in a South Westerly direction will commence a turn at 500 feet above ground level and departures from runway 05 in a North Easterly direction will turn Southbound at 1000 feet above ground level.

These routes are seen by the Airport as being a step towards enhancing our good neighbour policy and your comments on the form below would be appreciated."
