Welcome to Brookside Surgery. We are a two doctor partnership working in purpose built premises to provide healthcare to patients in Stretton on Dunsmore and surrounding villages. We aim to provide high quality and appropriate healthcare and treatment to those who are ill or have ongoing medical needs. This is best achieved by offering a range of skills and expertise within our team of GPs, nurses, midwife, health visitor, phlebotomist and other support staff

Registering with the Practice.

Registration with the practice is open to anyone living within the practice area (see back of leaflet) that is not already registered with a GP. If you live within the practice area and are currently registered with another GP then registration is still possible but we would ask that you speak to our Practice Manager in the first instance.

To register please collect a set of forms from reception for each person registering. The receptionist will explain how the practice works and give you copies of the latest patient information sheets and newsletter.

Patients are now registered with the Practice not with an individual GP. However you will be given the opportunity to choose a preferred GP. You may choose to see only your preferred GP, but there may be times when you will be asked to see an alternative doctor (for example because the service requested is not available from your chosen GP).

We offer all new patients over the age of 5 an appointment for a new patient check with a practice nurse. This is best arranged at the time of registering.
