Stretton on Dunsmore

For over one thousand years there has been a community in Stretton on Dunsmore. At the end of the first millennium there was an established settlement here, the origins of the village were probably several hundred years earlier.

A book was produced for the Millennium "Stretton on Dunsmore the making of a Warwickshire Village" (ISBN 095374620)"

This book was produced by a team of villagers - Jesse Quinney, Denise Hume, Bryan Sapwell, Brian Clay, Sue Higgins, Freda Leaver, Rob Hume and Roger Clemons. They were later joined by Warwick Dipple who designed the layout and prepared the book for printing.

The project was a success because of the work put into it from the project team and the support and information provided by the community.
