Playgrounds and Public Footpaths

There are two main recreational areas in Stretton, located at Plott Lane and the Fosse Way.

Plott Lane. This the home of the cricket club and the skateboard park. There are also play facilities for youngsters.

Fosse Way. This is the home of Stretton Athletic Football Club. There are also swings and slides for youngsters to use.

Both areas have 'Dog Poo' bins which are emptied frequently. Everybody exercising their dogs should 'Pick up the Poo' and leave it in these bins

Public Footpaths. The countryside around Stretton is beautiful and there are several Public Footpaths which allow walkers to enjoy it. The Ordinance Survey maps for the area show these paths. In easy walking distance is the Village of Princethorpe, also Wappenbury Woods and Nunswood, both of which belong to the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and are open to the Public.
