ORGANISATION

At present the school is organised within seven single age classes, which represent the three Key Stages within a primary school.

All classes are of mixed ability and there will be some children with special needs in each class. Pupils are generally taught within their peer groups, although they may sometimes work in different groupings according to the nature of the work being undertaken.

GOVERNORS

The Governors of the school are responsible for the staffing, finance, premises, curriculum and future planning of the school. The Governors work very closely with the Head teacher, who has responsibility for management decisions about the school.

There are 13 Governors.
7 Foundation Governors, 1 LEA Governor, 2 Staff Governors (including the Headteacher), 1 Parent Governor, 1 Sponsor Governor (nominated by Stretton on Dunsmore Parish Council) and 1 Local Incumbent [ foundation governor ex-officio member]
