SPORT

Our games time is planned so that all children take part in a balanced programme of activities. Football, netball, basketball, cricket, rounders and uni-hoc are played in games times. In year 3 all children attend swimming lessons. Gymnastics and dance are also taught in school.

ARTS PROVISION

1. Instrumental Tuition

Guitar, violin, woodwind, keyboard and brass lessons are available to Key Stage 2 children during the week, given by teachers from the County Music Service. Class teachers teach recorders on a voluntary basis.

2. Theatre workshops and visits.

These take place throughout the year.

3. School Visits

School visits to places of interest and study centres are regularly arranged to enhance the curriculum. These take place throughout the year. Residential visits to Marle Hall, the LEA Outdoor Education Centre in Wales, and Offchurch are arranged for children in KS2.
