Parish Plan

After nearly two years of work and following the end of the public consultation period the Stretton on Dunsmore Parish Plan is now available.

The Plan comes as two documents: The main document is The Parish Plan and comprises the Village Design Statement and Policy Statement. The second document is the Action Plan, which will be used as a working document by the Parish Council to guide and direct their discussions and decision making.

The publication of this document is a major first step for Stretton on Dunsmore. It has been produced by our Community for our Community and shows the issues that are important to us. This document will develop and change as needs and wishes of our Community change.

This work has been undertaken with the help of a grant from the Countryside Agency, the vast majority of that money being used to cover the costs involved to publish and print the document itself.

Copies of this document, in paper or electronic (on CD) form, will be made available to parishioners and also to outside bodies e.g. Rugby Borough Council Planning Department, Countryside Agency, etc.

If you require your own copy either on paper or on CD, please contact:

Paul Gordon on 024 76542850 or

Cathy Tompsett on 024 76542813.

The Parish Plan is a working document and will remain subject to alterations and inclusions which have been brought to, discussed and agreed at the Parish Council.
